I am an American Muslim living in North Carolina.  I converted to Islam my senior year in college. I am happy to say that I am an alum of the wonderful College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. I was married to my husband, who is also an American Muslim, a year after graduating college.  All praise is for Allah to whom we owe everything, we have been married for almost 10 years.  I am a medical transcriptionist and I actively promote this career as a wonderful way to be a part of the medical care team without having to deal with patients on a day-to-day basis.  I enjoy cooking, crafts, reading and the Internet.

I am happy to be blogging and actively looking to expand this blog to a place where people want to come to read about what I am thinking, doing, and promoting and to exchange dialogue based on those things.   I plan to blog about Islam, History, Cooking, maybe a little Politics, Family Life, Health and a host of other topics.  I hope to attrack  people interested in keeping up with the blog and I look forward to it.

May Allah guide us all to his straight path, Ameen
